“Organic farmed chenin from Margaret River. A rising currency in this day and age. All the salty whites line up!
This is a ripper drink, a little plusher and rambunctious than expected, a sloshy, joyous feel to the wine, though in that the piercing core of saline minerality does its trick. Hazy green apple juice meets nashi pear with a squeeze of lemon and lime. Some alpine herbs and sage leaf in there too. A dry, prickly and pretty finish, lip-smacking and refreshing. It’s a treat, feels very varietal, and does the textural white thing very well.”
